Roommates return from vacation to find all of their stuff gone

GREENBELT, Md. — Roommates returned from holiday vacation to obtain all of their possessions absent and two strangers sleeping in a mattress in their Greenbelt apartment earlier this thirty day period.

According to Greenbelt Metropolis Police, the roommates remaining their apartment in the 9300 block of Edmonston Highway on March 28 to go on holiday. The victims informed officers when they still left, the apartment was absolutely furnished.

The victims arrived property on April 5, telling investigators that when they obtained residence, they discovered the front door was ruined and the condominium was fully empty.

As the victims walked into the unit, police say they found a Black gentleman and white girl they did not know lying on a mattress, the only piece of home furnishings however in the apartment. 

The victims told police the suspects admitted to getting their merchandise and “turned aggressive” ahead of running away. The victims were being equipped to share photos of the suspects with officers.

The roommates instructed police the apartment, which was thoroughly furnished when they remaining, was totally vacant when they returned besides for black trash luggage crammed with goods and trash on the walls.
