Woman charged after shots fired from inside an apartment, mayor confirms

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – An investigation continues into a taking pictures Wednesday night in Paintsville.

A simply call arrived in to Paintsville Law enforcement Wednesday night of pictures fired close to the intersection of KY-321 and Mill Department Street.

When officers responded, they noticed a gap in the facet of an condominium developing. Officers eventually obtained entry to the condominium where by they discovered 45-yr-old Shaundena M. Conley.

Conley was arrested after a quick wrestle with officers that incorporated her attempting to disarm just one of them. Officers discovered a solid smell of liquor on Conley and concluded that she was intoxicated.

The initial investigation disclosed that the shot arrived from a 12-gauge shotgun and went through the apartment wall, hitting a truck parked outdoors.

No one was harm in the taking pictures. Conley was taken to a nearby hospital for therapy on scrapes and bruises and is predicted to be taken to the Large Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Conley was charged with initially degree wanton endangerment, 3rd diploma assaulting a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, disarming a peace officer, and three counts of failing to show up.

Paintsville Mayor Monthly bill Mike Runyon also advised WYMT the Johnson County Sheriff’s Place of work and Kentucky Point out Law enforcement also responded to the simply call.
